I don't think the first image can be improved, as the cut wingtip will always be a motive rejection. I also agree with right-in-frame, the composition looks unbalanced as it is. I think the shot can only work with a close-up / closer crop to the fuselage.
As for the SAA:
Honestly at 1.024px it is hard to tell if a shot is just soft or blurry. For me ist just looks soft, quality doesn't seem to bad.
I agree that the colour is off as the fuselage is not really white. But I don't see evidence for compression or oversharpening (again at 1.024 a photo will looked jagged no matter how).
Generally I would at least upload in 1.200px, I think these ultra-tiny sizes don't help.
