#1: looks soft/blurry towards the nose to me and there's also some bad CA along the top of the fuselage and the leading edge of the tail.
#2: heat-haze and appears to be some compression around the titles?
#3: needs ccw rotation in my opinion.
#5: soft/blurry at the nose and CA leading edge of the tail.

Hello,
I tried fixing #3, does it look any better now?

Again, contrast on all photos looks very strange to me, and lots of undersharpness. Weird musty brown color.

+51 shadows and -54 whites are quite extreme tweaks that should not be necessary for such a photo.

I almost never slide the whites below -10 and the only time I ever have to is from harsh lighting. -10 does the trick over 95% of the time.

Also, from personal experience, getting the shadows beyond +45 usually leads to a drop-off in overall quality of the image.

I agree on overexposed outside, the interior focus (not just the foreground seats) looks a bit sketchy.

Wing tip looks a little blurry (out of focus). May be OK at 1200 pixels. I would also add some sharpening to the aircraft. Exposure and contrast look good...are you using a different lens, or editing method?

Slight blur/OOF was my first thought as well. Agree that it looks fine otherwise.

Also, the reason that it's a bit blurry or out of focus, is probably because I ran along the bike trail to get in a better position so that the photo would be in good lighting, and so I was bit shaky lol

Taken in some GOLDEN lighting at Denver last evening, but I couldn't find settings to work for this.. Either the ISO would be too high, or if I put it too low, the photos were extremely underexposed..

A bit of an interesting one here...
A very windy evening at CVG, caused runway 27 landings.. .Adding in the fact that it was getting close to 9:00 PM, meant that I had to choose a slow shutter speed. I know it's a bit blurry, but would this kind of photo get accepted?

Hey there Andrew,

The Frontier could use some CCW rotation.
The DHL looks passable for me.

Looks like you got some nice ramp access at CVG? Are you on the tour scheduled for 8/22?

OK... Yeah, I'm in an aviation group, and got to go on a tour at CVG today. We also got to check out the cockpit of an ABX Air 767-200..

I'm still trying to figure out whether I can make it for the event on Thursday... It's a little bit inconvenient, though for me, since it's at 6 AM on a weekday morning, but I might still be able to go.

Is Steve planning on going as well?

Thanks,

Hello,
Please pre-screen this photo:

Here's my first attempt at a good panning shot. Hopefully I can get some better, sharper results the next time I try to pan, but I figured this one might still have a chance at getting accepted.

Thanks,
Andrew

That's way too blurry, sorry. Won't make it. I think I'm also seeing some chromatic abberation/purple fringing, indicating that you are pushing the limits of your lens(?)

What do you mean pushing the limits?
I have a Canon 75-300mm, and it was zoomed in all the way, is this what you mean as pushing the limits?
My lens is very cheap, and I'm hoping to upgrade soon, once I can get enough money saved up.

Thanks,
Andrew
