prescreen / editing advice - jeepregular

Thu May 09, 2019 8:53 am

Good afternoon! Kindly prescreen this photo. Does it look blurry especially at the nose of a/c? Thank you!

Good evening! I have got this recent rejection on this photo. This photo (https://imgproc.airliners.net/photos/ai ... 4a19644e06) was rejected after an appeal for underexposed, high contrast and CCW rotation. Although I will agree on the first two reasons, the third one (CCW rotation) makes me confused. Can anybody explain why it needs some rotation? It's because, in my LR, it detected a vertical reference such as the billboard and a lampost. Any suggestions and explanations would be appreciated. Thank you!

Level looks fine to me, the photo should be alright after fixing the underexposure and using a bit less contrast. The aircraft is bright enough, but the surroundings are dark (check the right side of the histogram).

Good morning! The photo (https://imgproc.airliners.net/photos/ai ... 4f9f77f089) was rejected again due to CCW rotation. Can anybody have a piece of advice on where to level on this particular photo? Is it on the billboard or the top side of the runway? Any help would be greatly appreciated Thank you!

If level was the only issue, I would.

Hi guys! Can you prescreen this photo? I just want to check if the horizon is ok (my reference is that runway light) and if there are issues that must be rectified (especially its sharpness). Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you!

Good day! May I ask for any editing advice on this photo? (the link is provided below). tI was my first time to capture this type of photo and I want to ask if there must be any adjustments with regards to colour, exposure and horizon (among other potential issues). Any feedback will be appreciated. Thank you!

Hi,

the airplane in itself looks fine But it seems you used a lot of noise reduction on the foreground which looks really smudgy at any details are lost. I am surprised to see that on a daytime shot and would advise you to use less NR.

Cheers.

Would this be rejected for motive?

Fri Sep 25, 2020 11:35 am

Hello! I would like to ask if the photo below would be rejected for motive (foreground is a distraction)? And, are there any issues in the photo that I need to fix? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

The foreground object is not distracting enough for me to be a motive rejection. I'm not on my screening monitor, but colors look a bit over-saturated and I'm also seeing a slight cyan tint. If you decided to edit the image further, you might also want to horizontally enter the aircraft in the frame. It looks a little Left in Frame. I know it may be picky, but its one of those things that when you see it, you can't "unsee" it! If that was the only issue with it, I would not reject it. However, since it looks like you'd be editing the image, may as well fix it.

Regard,

Jehan

A/c looks centered to me, but a little CW rotation may be needed.

Since it's not blocking any part of the a/c it won't be rejected by the screeners for that reason.
The a/c is rather high in frame though (taking into account the tail), which may lead to a rejection.

Hi! May I ask if the horizon/vertical level of this photo is acceptable? Or do I need a bit of rotation? Also, is the overall quality of the photo acceptable? Any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks!
