issure when sharpening photos on photoshop

hi I have recently been using photoshop elements 2019 and when I sharpen my photos a little bit on photoshop, when I upload them they still look a bit soft. has anyone had the same problem ?

Although I do not know your experience level, I use an older version of PSE and when I sharpen I go to ENHANCE>ADJUST SHARPNESS and in the box there is an option box "REMOVE" and you have 3 selections GAUSSIAN - LENS - MOTION. I use LENS BLUR selection to sharpen. If you try the 3 different ones, you will see the difference. I hope this helps.

I am really surprised no one here has answered this in the last week.

Wiggy - Are you saying the sharpness looks different from what you upload to what you see locally?

I've had the same issue - so I no longer go with what I see once I've uploaded an image. If I get a specific rejection I will adjust my post-processing based on specific feedback.
