Tue Jul 09, 2019 9:50 pm

hey guys

i was wondering what's better or more liked on airlines.net

i have a photo of this emirates 777-300ER and one of the photos has the wing cut off so the fuselage is in the centre of the frame and then the other photo has both wings fully showing and the fuselage is a bit to the right of the frame what's better (or more liked)

wings fully showing https://www.flickr.com/photos/182428974 ... ed-public/

wing cut off https://www.flickr.com/photos/182428974 ... ed-public/

thanks in advance

also the one picture with the wings fully showing is not edited at all only cropped

Essentially both crops work here but but neither image has the quality to pass screening. Both are noisy, need levelling and suffer from general quality issues, and the second would also need a better (tighter) crop.

#2 would likely draw a rejection for "Motive" for the clipped tip of the horizontal stabilizer. Better to crop closer to the tail cone or tail. For this image, I think a nose-to-tail crop works best.
