Hi Rich,

Slightly soft and a bit magenta (needing more green) color cast. Otherwise nice.

Easyjet: a little low in frame
Jet2: back is blown out and A/C is underexposed, no chance.

Easyjet should be ok though.

The A321 looks better, agree with Tim for the other 2 (the EZY A320 is a little flat as well (needs more contrast)).

EZY: Borderline over exposed and a touch flat (low contrast), and A few centimetres higher in frame should do it.

TUI: Low in frame, but otherwise looks ok.

The framing of the first TUI is better and not high in frame. Agree on HIF for the EZY.

EZY: a touch flat
OO-SNG: kinda purple colour cast, especially in the sky.
White A320: Over-exposed, Unser-exposed,flat, probably not fixable. Over-exposed with the blown out cloud, while the plane it self is under exposed.
Aeroflot: a bit flat, but should be fixable

It would appear that you saved your image in an AdobeRGB color profile instead of sRGB. Re-saving and re-uploading should do the trick.

Hi Kas

I am using adobe photoshop, when I do save as it says that the profile is ProPhoto RGB, if I go on edit and convert to profile and choose sRGB IEC61966-2.1 it then says sRGB IEC61966-2.1 as the profile in the save as window. I have saved the file as that option is that correct?

Hi Richard,

The image looks over-sharpened (window line and main titles)and needing more contrast.

For me the light is just too poor and it's a very common subject. A personal rule of mine is: if the fuselage is darker than the sky behind, forget it.

Hi, the titles look a bit oversharpened on my monitor. Otherwise the windowline looks soft. The light is also not in your favor so a dark or underexposed rejection would be passable I think. I can see also slight heathaze on the right wing, maybe double check in the original.

Had this one rejected for

Category
Personal Message:"Category = colorful/special."
High in Frame
Underexposed

I can fix the category and high in Frame easily but is the exposure fixable.

On a positive these two were both accepted

Any thoughts on the 757, 737 above and is this one? any better than the previous versions. I can't work out why OO-SNG looks a lot better at high resolution but the text looks weird when I edit it and resize.

Jet2: poor light and motive for the lamp post
TUI: still some room for improvement regarding exposure, judging the right side of the histogram
Brussels: passable

Hi Rich,

I see jaggies around the edges of the wings, tail, horizontal stabilizer, etc. The overhead light also drew the overexposed rejection. Can't disagree with the screener's assessment.

Hi there Richard,

All three have that "blurry and oversharpened to compensate" look to them, especially the TUI B737.Also, the lighting appears to be quite harsh.

How about these two with less sharpening? (I haven't followed my usual processing steps) I can't do much about the harsh light.

Is this one any good? would the motive be acceptable? how is it for level? I can't seem to get the tower and the buildings level. never submitted a shot from in the plane before.

EZY: marginal but passable
TUI: blurry
Jet2: underexposed
LJ45: blurryish (nose, engine)
Level of the wing photo looks passable as does quality. Bit underexposed though.

The EZY: marginal is that the light the sharpness or something else?
Ill bin that TUI

Is this LJ45 better?

Is this exposure better for the wing?

Main Subject:Airliner/Other

Hi Richard,
-Yes, the JET2 does look better than previous one but It seems bit of low contrast after increasing brightness.
-As Kas said befor, LJ45 seems blurry. Blurry is different from soft which can be solved by adding sharpness. Blurry could noy be fixed usually. The latest version you provided still looks blurry toward nose gear, sry about that.
- Wing view looks much better but I would still tend to apply a little bit more contrast on it.

Regards,
Harry

Hi Rich,
For these two here.
TUI: Looks underexposed and soft for me especially windows look very soft IMO.
OK-TVI: Quality looks not so bad for me but I am not a fan of this kind of frame since it looks unbalanced IMO. Bettwe wait more thoughs about that ; )
Hope that help and sorry for the late replies.

Harry

Yes, it is vertical after checking that. Since the banding is vertical in this case, I would doubt that they come from the window. I don't think it can be fixed easily in PS, but I would say it's not very obvious for me.

is it worth an appealing? or reuploading at 1024 rather than 1200 wide?

Any thoughts on the further edits of the Jet2 and TUI?
