Yes it would be double as we require photos to be at least 90° different, which is not the case. If your shot in the db was more side-on we could talk about it, but as it is not. Sorry.

I'm puzzzled about the soft rejection. If any thing, I think the image is too contrasty. You're edited version looks oversharpened to me.

Thanks Jehan.
I reduced the contrast and the sharpness a bit, does it work better now?

Is this one oversharpened too?
https://www.flickr.com/photos/wendt_image/49403324552/in/album-72157710437537576/

Do you only look for halos and jaggies, or is it an "eye" for the correct amount?

Rene,

Unfortunately both still look oversharpened to me... a bit of a "Crispy" appearance.

Thanks Jehan,

I made som changes based on your feedback and the image got accepted (the EasyJet). Thank you for taking your time.

This one is an older image from 2012, I am a bit unsure about the quality:

Hello Rene,

The Sterling 737 is showing some noise in the dark areas (e.g under the wing, etc). Also, I think it can be placed a little higher in the frame. The 737 from this angle is tricky due to the tail. Perhaps some other opinions will help, but this "feels" a little low in the frame. Try placing it a little bit higher in the frame and see how it looks. Otherwise, it is fine for me.

Thanks for the quick and clear answer.

I will adjust the position and add some noise reduction.
Thanks.

A couple of shots again.

I am a little worried about the lighting on the upper part of the wing and the tail. Is it acceptable?

The same questions goes for the heli:

Agree with Tim about the blurry tail on the tail dragger. Chopper looks passable to me.

Hi,
Both exposure and contrast look ok for me although contrast could be increased slightly, but you would be better to check "Dirty" since I can see some dirty spots in the sky area. Also looks tad soft for me at this size as well.

Harry

Thanks Harry.
You are right, the dirty spots are identified and dealt with. Sharpness and contrast are increased a bit and the photo is in the que now.

There seems to be a difference between my monitor and my tablet - The exposure on quite a few of my rejected photos looks okay on the monitor, but appear a fair bit darker on the tablet.
That could indicate I need to adjust my monitor?

How do these 2 photos appear to you (primarily exposure and contrast):

The AT7 looks overexposed and flat on my screen. The CR9 looks a bit odd but it's likely the angle you've taken it at vs. the angle of the sun. Doesn't work for me as looks punchy in some areas but flat in others. It's also very bright in parts.

The CR9 will never be good, the light was to harsh. What about this edit of the ATR, better?:

Definitely better but still looks a touch flat to me. I'd give it a slight contrast boost and a shot of saturation.

Advice appreciated: This photo was shot during a an overcast grey day. Increasing the exposure further will likely overexpose the right wing.
Would do you think about the exposure, acceptable?

Hi Rene,
Weather and light looks not very bad since there some dark cloud in the background sky that can make the a/c light enough, but the whole image still looks very underexposed for me. Some CW rotation might be needed as well as the bacground verticle indicates that. I would tend to place the a/c little bit higher based on current version although current one is ok for me. Otherwise looks fine for me. Remember to provide enough and correct info when you upload it : )

Something like this? I don't think it is possible to push the exposure further than that.
It still need CW rotation.

Hi Rene,

Exposure of this shot looks not bad for me since the weather condition is what it's in this case, but I would tend to add a little bit more contrast to it because overall looks grey-ish. Also, some CW rotation needed as well IMO. Many dust spots in the sky area, you would be better to check it ~ Hope that can be helpful.

Harry

Very helpful, thanks.

These two photos, taken at sunset, are they on the right track? I am very uncertain about the crop (motive?) and the lightning/ contrast:

Well, one of them was a new reg.number which made it to the database - don't know about the other one yet.

What do you think about this one? I like the light, but the Z7 did not provide me with the best starting point. The size is perhaps a bit optimistic:
