Editing advice - Merijn

Sat Aug 10, 2019 2:59 pm

Hallo all,

Is there a way to adapt this photo in order to get it accepted. Photo was taken in raw, but as there were clouds, I'm afraid quality will be poor whatever I'll try (I can live with it, but then at least i tried...as it's a brand new livery I could upload it in priority).

I feel that doing much more in Lightroom/Photoshop will simply create a photo that will be worse.

Many thanks in advance

I'm not really sure how fixable that is. The noise and softness shoudl be, although if you sharpen the current version more, it will look worse and oversharpened. The halos are especially visible over the white part of the top fuselage. Not sure if that is lens/camera related or editing related.
