advice on an interesting image

Thu Sep 26, 2019 9:21 pm

Hello all, I'm pretty new to photography and totally new to aviation photography (though have been an AvGeek for many years).

I have an interesting image of the 747 from the burning man festival that just got rejected and love some guidance/feedback on how to "fix" it.

I've attached my edited and original image, and I do have the original RAW file that I was (incompetently?) tweaking with RawTherapee

Here's the feedback I got from the screeners:
>Here's why your photo was rejected:
>High in Frame
>Low Contrast
>Personal Message
>The Screener left a comment regarding this photo: “Very interesting, but needs a bit improvement. Dust spot in sky left of cockpit.”

thanks so much, -k

That was my doing. I'd love to add the photo to the database, as it is unique and rare. I'd be happy to help you out with an edit. If you accept, please send the RAW file to my A.net E-mail (airkas1[at]airliners.net). I will then make an edit and E-mail it back for you to upload.
