Pre-Screening JFK Jets (Vincenzo)

Wed Nov 20, 2019 11:38 pm

Hello! It was recommended that I start a thread to have my photos pre-screened. Thank You for your input!

This first photo was originally rejected for a dust spot (resolved) & photo being too soft for the resolution (adjusted picture size).

It looks nice I just hope the aircraft is a bit elevated so that it won't look flat. You can also play with the background.

Hi Vicenzo,

the Qatar 777F looks fine. Personally I’d disregard that “soft for size” comment. Either a shot is soft or it is not. In any case it just needs more sharpening (like on yours). And generally for sure larger shots need more sharpening than smaller ones. I don’t like too much when people get encouraged to upload smaller as long as the quality is there (other than whatever “for size” doesn’t make sense to me). In your case the quality seems to be there. So please continue in any size you like.

The Virgin is very nice and I’d accept it straight away.

Julien,

Thank You very much for your input and I will ensure the sharpness is adequate for a shot with 1900x size.
