Pre-Screening Feedback

Sat Apr 25, 2020 9:40 pm

Trying to learn the processes around here to eventually get my first pic accepted. Feel like this is a good candidate for acceptance and would appreciate any advice on how to edit it to improve

At first glance, the image above needs a tighter crop, needs to be centered in the frame and needs sharpening. Take a look at images with a similar composition to get an idea of acceptability. Also recommend that you review the Acceptance Guide found on the Photo Upload page. It is a bit dated, but the fundamentals still apply. Once you have an image that is edited, feel free to share it here for prescreening comments.

Needs a tighter crop and needs to be centered. As it is it will be rejected for Distance and Low in Frame. Could also use some sharpening around the nose as well. If you attend to these, it should be passable.

Looks noisy with a very slight magenta cast on my screen.
