Re: Pre-screen Various Images

Not a screener (but who knows, maybe one day... :scratchchin: )

F16: Soft around the tail and nose, however, given the conditions (long lens, likely a large crop) it could go either way.

F18: Bit of a tight crop for me, also a touch OS, otherwise ok

Thunderbird T38: Unlevel? Its really hard to tell and I'm just not sure. Also a bit soft at the nose.

AA T7 and 787 are both ok.

F16 formation: should be ok.

N8718Q: Soft (shot through window?)

Last 2 are fine and I quite like the F35 shot!

Thanks for the honest critique!

The F-16 is indeed a pretty heavy crop, so we'll see how that goes.

Hornet: Previously rejected for soft, so I might've overcompensated a tough there. I didn't have a lot of room to crop, sadly.

T-38: I tried to level based on the motion-blurred light poles in the background. I agree though, the shot took a while to get what I thought was "level," and even now I question it. Agreed on soft nose. Terrible conditions that day.

8718: Busted. Yes, this is through a window. What's most frustrating, is that it looks so much better at full resolution.

Thanks for the compliment! That was a good day.

F-16C : Agree with Tim's point on soft. The whole aircraft looks very soft especially the areas beside cockpit cover. Hard to get a pass IMO.
F18C : Crop should be fine. Sharpness looks marginal but passable for me. If it still gets Soft this time, I would highly recommend you to apply a small size on it.
T-38 : Looks blurry toward half front part not Soft for me. Level is iffy for me to judge as well since I'm not sure if the constructions are in a slope or something else.
AA77W : Looks not bad, but I would tend to give it slight sharpness at this size.
AA787: Same as AA77W.
F16C Group : Passable for me.
N8718Q : Ok for me although nose has tad soft.
N8706W: Ok for me.
F35: Looks cool. Giving it tad sharpness would be better IMO.

Regards,
Harry

Thanks Harry! The F-16 should be screened today, so I'll cross my fingers and hope for the best rather than pull it. I don't have high hopes for it, or the T-38.

I appreciate the honest feedback.
