Absolutely BONKERS Screening

Thu Feb 04, 2021 8:18 pm

Hello! These were my first two uploads and were both rejected for:

*Color, *Noise, *Underexposed

I am NOT biased on these images whatsoever. I GREATLY welcome feedback. But as a pro photographer of nearly a decade, I truly fail to agree with the screeners on these images. I appealed both, and BOTH times I received some pretty harsh and rude messages from the head screeners. Feedback is welcome! The 787 was shot directly into sunset, the second is a 1/20th drag of an Airbus in complete darkness. I ran extensive noise reduction on each of them.

Thanks everyone!
Conner

Hi Conner,

I've looked at two photos you mentioned. I would have to agree with the screening results. Take a look at the site to see what kind of photos we expect. The FAQ is good guide to begin with.

Cheers,
Daniel

Without having even seen the photos, I can already tell by this description that a rejection for noise and underexposure doesn't come as a surprise. Most photos on this website were taken during daylight and in sunshine (i.e. well-lit, low ISO, fast shutterspeed), so photos are screened by that standard.
