Is this worth appealing?

Mon Mar 08, 2021 4:57 am

The first time I uploaded this image it was rejected for "soft" so I bumped up the sharpness from 75 to 100 and now apparently its oversharpened. It was also rejected for "vignetting" but I have no idea what that means or how to fix it. That wasn't listed as a rejection reason the first time I uploaded it. In the "Photo Log" it says "asks for second opinion" three separate times and I had never seen that before so that's why I wondered if it might be worth another shot.

It does not over-sharpened to me. However, vignetting is visible in the upper corners. Vignetting is where there are dark shadows in the corners. It can be mitigated to some extent with a photo editor. I use Photoshop Elements and there is a correction tool in the Filter--> Correct Camera Distortion menu. It also looks like it needs a bit of Counter Clockwise rotation. The tower seems to be leaning to the left. I also see some banding in the sky.

Jehan
