Good morning all, I had a bunch of rejection due to the compression but the workflow it's always the same once I have done with the editing, I save the file as .jpeg with the highest level of quality as stated and described in all the guide but sometime I get the "compression rejection" and I still not understand how to avoid it even after some reading of other thread and article. Do you have any advices? Thx
I can see compression/banding in the sky, top left/right of frame. I'm more surprised it didn't get the boot for overexposure as a few areas are blown out.
in effect in the personal message from the screener, it was stated that there are compression in the upper left and right corner but what I don't understand is how to recognize it when I look the image. is that light black strip similar to a cloud? I read the acceptance guide with all the examples of the rejection due to the compression but sincerely I don't see the difference between the images with high, low and medium compression
Hi Andy, I can't access to the photo you posted above. One of the ways to recognize the compression is to check if there's "Pixel" feeling or effect on the photos. Typically can be observed in the sky and some colorful areas. You can experiment this by saving an identical photo with different saving standard to check. Hope this helps.
