How do we re-submit a rejected photo?

How do we re-submit a rejected photo?

Do we just send the newly edited photo in as though it were a new photo and make a note to the reviewer that it is being re-submitted?

Or is there a special way of doing this so that it is linked to the earlier submission?

Yes, although the note is optional (not required).
