Builder Field Issues

Tue Dec 21, 2021 7:04 pm

Hi (Head) screeners,

This the second time that I get a comment from a screener not to select the builder field when I upload a photo. I said before that I'm not selecting anything additional because I chose between the options that are given to me. Why on earth do I get 5 different options when I enter the aircraft registration when uploading a photo. This is very confusing and I'm told not to do something while I'm not doing anything. Someone please explain to me what I'm doing wrong because it is becoming very irritating.

Hello dear A388,

I and we sincerely apologize to the inconvenience made to you. Info - Builder rejection will not be given alone, it will be given along with some other existed problems. Sometimes we see Builder Info in the wrong place but if the picture is fine we will just go ahead and accept. I know this is hard to understand, but the database function is not fully user friendly to all of us, however we do would like to maintain the DB, so once we have the opportunity to tell photogs what to do we will just comment and friendly remind them the case is not suitable.

I totally can understand the Builder Info you encounter because sometimes our fellows ourself will have the same issue as well when select info. So what we can really do is when select the Results come from Automatic Matches, choose the one with all info correct (if the case is no need to have Builder Info, then select the one without Builder; if all choices have Builder info and the case is no need to have it, just choose the most correct one and then delete the Builder Info manually on your own) this small step could just take few seconds to 1 minute.

This issue exists is because at the very beginning many people are confusing the definition between Builder and Manufacturer, when user / photog input the info, system likes a robot just receives it and memorize it and then output to next user who wants to use this info. That's the case :(

Again, we are sincerely sorry about that and hope you can understand that !

Cheers,
Harry
