The ground photos look like they're suffering from some heat haze, which I don't think is very fixable. Nice shots overall for sure.
Thanks! Initially I did try to get one of the takeoff ones accepted, and it was rejected for "oversharpening" (which I disagreed with, but oh well). I could post the 1:1 details, these photos are pretty sharp naturally, so i think its just a matter of finding the sweet spot of sharpening, noise reduction, and jpg export settings.
So for 15 you think its blurry, or soft? Sometimes those are used interchangeably, but there shouldn't be any blurriness at 1/800th, and i don't think there is.
Yes, unfortunately there is some minor heat haze, which is why I kept some of them to 1700 or 1800 px wide, although it's not terrible in my opinion.
