Pre/Post screening feedback

Tue Jan 17, 2023 2:24 am

Hello there, I needed some feedback for my photo. Recently I've uploaded this photo below but got rejected due to CCW rotation.

https://www.airliners.net/user/photo-co ... to/7114431

When the first time it was rejected due to CCW rotation, I applied some CW rotation to compensate for it (from -0.15 to 0.07). Then re-uploaded it, and got rejected again for CCW rotation followed by the screener message.
"slightly better, but the photo still needs more CCW rotation".

The question is, does the photo need more CW or CCW rotation to fix it? If it does need some rotation, by how much and what area should I use as reference? Or does the photo actually fine? Because I usually align it either on the upper part of the runway or upper part of the ground that connected to the building

Silly question, does CW means lefty-up, righty-down? Got confused there

Hi Aviaflyer,

As screeners, we use background verticals to judge the rotation of an image.
In this case, the background verticals I'm looking at are the apartment buildings which are leaning to the right. This means that they need some ccw rotation to make them stand up straight.
Should be an easy fix.

Hi Tim,
DSC03996.jpg

I've made the necessary fix by making a CCW rotation (from 0.07 to -0.2). Let me know if it need further changes. Thank you.
