Hi I had below photo rejected last week orso for being blurry, grainy and quality. I appealed it without success and now to my surprise I see another photo that was accepted of much lower quality (a Varig DC10 freighter shot). I know I shouldn't compare with other photos but I do this just to get an understanding on how the screening of old scanned photos go. As I said in my appeal I have more photos from the past accepted with similar quality but yet this time my photo was rejected. How do these standards work because they seem to be inconsistent when it comes down to scanned photos: Here's my photo:

How can I improve my photo, I honestly still find it to be of decent quality, nothing bad at all and it's a nice special livery.

There are literally hundreds of photos of the Peter Max 777 on the site, so any new upload will need to be good quality.

#7115089 is not passable and I think this is not fixable. May be suffering about lot of heat haze. I don't see newly accepted lower quality Varig DC-10.
