Post Screening - Soft/Quality (INNflight)

Tue Nov 17, 2009 2:56 pm

Uploaded a shot again after not doing so for many months, got the rejection today.

It was a quality / soft / motive rejection.

I get the motive one, but can't seriously see quality and soft?!? Any pointers?

Hi Flo

The quality and soft issue comes with the whole frontsection. Pretty hard to get that right as the whole thing is in the dark ...

See u @ SMV this winter?

Nice motive, not too sharp which is a nice for a change, like Jwilson's and other bunch's work over at FM, but a.net likes a bit sharper then them.

Though as Rotate said, nose section (cockpit windows) is a bit soft.

Flo I always appreciate your shots but I don't like this one. Would have been much better without the distracting foreground. Quality wise I think it looks acceptable

Hey Flo,

can't see quality and softness issues on that one, though I'm on my laptop and it's not always real good to see here.
But I don't like the motive either; would have been cool without the snow in front blocking the lower part of the aircraft.

But looking forward to seeing more shots of yours!  Smile

Hi Flo..

Hope you are doing good. Neat shot, but the foreground causes the motiv rejection.

As for soft, the entire nose area is soft. Grain is also noticeable around the nose area.

Might be easier to see without the watermark.

Hope this helps.
