It looks pretty good on my screen generally although there's noticable noise in the sky that may lead to a noise rejection. I think it might benefit from a 3:2 aspect ration rather than 4:3 to lose some of the dead space.
Slightly different. Any better on the noise in the sky? If I re-shot this pic, any recommendations on reducing noise at shooting-time? Using an inexpensive Digital Rebel T3 so not the biggest or best sensor but it's what I have to work with.

It's pretty basic really - use as low an ISO as possible, and don't underexpose; my 50D gets really noisy if I have to boost exposure in post-processing, even at ISO 200. Shoot in good light, so that you don't have to add oodles of contrast in post, as that will bring out the noise. Shoot RAW if you think you may need general noise reduction in post.
That's just general advice for low-noise shots, though - nothing to do with your particular shot.
