Grainy? Seeking Post-Screening Comment

Hi everyone!

First maybe there is something wrong with my eyes but I see no noise. Ok maybe there is other flaws. Taken at dusk!

Second maybe screeners have a tricky manipulation to the pictures to see noise showing up like they do with dust spots. (equalize in PS I believe) If so I got to use it in my editing flow!

Well I too am struggling to see any grain I would consider problematic. All photos contain grain, and you will find it every time without fail if you look hard enough.

Is there grain in there? Of course - it's a photograph. Does it spoil the image in any way whatsoever? No.

I don't see much grain either, but worth noting that that wasn't the only rejection reason on either of them.

We don't use PS to screen images. If a dust spot isn't visible without equalization, the image won't be rejected for it.

I use equalization in my editing on just about every photo.

Well thank you for your answer, I resubmit the two of them with slight editing and I redoo the detail part in Lightroom from scratch.

Here they are now!

Rejected before for contrast (not enough) and grainy!

Rejected before for contrast (not enough), grainy and quality!

I hope it's the good one!

The Air Transat looks good to go for me. That contrast was definitely needed.

Likely to be rejected for soft and contrast again.

Light still not great, but better than before.
