Post & Pre Screening (Chuck9941)

Tue Apr 16, 2013 12:01 am

Getting hit or miss results with my last uploads. All photos of the same shooting day and processed at the same time but uploaded on different days resulted in one set with nearly 80% acceptance and the other with nearly 80% rejection. Puzzling but of the few rejected i could sense a few might be iffy.
This one however stands out and was rejected for soft with message saying the nose was soft. I can only guess the reference is for the titles near the nose which have kind of a weird reflection going on with them but I think if I sharpen anymore it will be oversharpened since I'm already starting to see some jaggies.

debating appeal but need more substance than I don't think it's soft...

Also have these in the queue and since I'm at it might as well get some pre-screening feedback. Mid-day conditions weren't ideal.

Maybe a bit of softness/haze on the nose, but otherwise it's not a major issue. Also a little bright and high in the frame.

Noise and sharpening (too much) are likely issues.

are all showing noise issues? for oversharpen I'm guessing you are talking about the Hawker which I'm not sure what to do about then since I only ran one swipe of USM 50% .3 radius on the cheat lines. I then added a layer and erased them out before a second swipe of the USM.

It's not severe, but it is noticeable on the first three.

No, all of them.
