Hey everyone, it has been awhile since I pulled the camera out but I finally had a chance today. Here are 3 shots that I was looking for some feedback on and what you believe the chances of getting them on the site are. Thanks!

2) http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...house007/IMG_2772c_zpsd6e2179a.jpg

Thanks again for your help,
Kyle

Hi Kyle,

First one is pretty good, Maybe could use a bit more sharpening along the fuselage but that is probably the camo making it look soft.

Second looks acceptable.

Third is dark and soft around the fuselage near the wing and windows, Looks like it should be fixable.

Cheers Mark

Here is my new edit for the last shot.

Is that any better? I'm not expected to get rid of that shadow from the wing am I?

Also, I have been messing with this shot as well.

Is the nose too blown out to recover from? Thanks.

Quoting Stackhouse007 (Reply 3):

Absolutely not. That kind of editing isn't allowed here.

Looks borderline overexposed right now. Couldn't say if it's too blown to recover without seeing the unedited file.

Thanks for the help. I'm glad that type of editing isn't allowed! I wouldn't know how to do it anyways. Just wasn't sure since this was my first shot of a small GA plane with a high wing.

Thanks again.

Hello again everyone,

I am looking for some pre-screening for these shots. Do you think these will be accepted or do they still need work?

Is this motive fine with the tug in the shot? I've never taken one like this.

Here's what I think:

1. Maybe a little high in the frame? Otherwise looks pretty good to me.
2. Looks a bit oversharpened on some of the diagonal lines.
3. Looks pretty good, although maybe a bit dark/flat.
4. Backlit so it probably would not make it here.

Hopefully a screener can help me with this quick. I had this shot rejected for "Category". I had it selected as prop but didn't select warbird. I resubmitted with both selected. Am I still missing something or is that correct now?

Thanks for the help.

Yes, since it is in military paint, but a civilian reg, it would be a warbird, which is what you missed last time.

Thanks for the reply! It is submitted again. Too bad the screeners can't just add that category since they didn't have any issues with the picture.
