Pre-Screening: Vignetting?

Tue Jan 21, 2014 12:42 am

I was shooting at Cincinnati Lunken this afternoon with my D3200 and 55-300mm. However, I noticed some vignetting on some shots. However, I'm not sure how to or if this even possible to fix. An example is down below.

Also, are there any other noticeable flaws in this image besides vignetting?

Thanks in advance,
Chase

Seems a bit soft toward the nose. As for the vignetting, I'm not too experienced on combating it, but I do have the same lens as you and I encounter vignetting on quite a few shots.

Good morning,

This images is Soft, especially forward fuselage and nose. As well as the significant vignetting there are lots of strange lines in the sky.
Have you shot this through a window?

Regards

Certainly looks like window reflections. If not, you may want to check to see if it shows up in all your shots. Could be something bad going on.

Window could also be contributing to the softness and maybe vignetting.

I noticed those lines as well, but thought maybe it was just my monitor being weird or something.I looked at some of my other shots from the same day, and I do not see any of those lines. This was not shot through a window or anything, so I'm not sure what that's all about.

Yes, the lines are apparent on the original as well.
