Pre-Screening - Level, Motive, Dirty, Etc.

Tue Jul 15, 2014 12:37 am

Here's the photo in question:
https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5540/14654947204_12a2fa6f8b_o.jpg

A couple of concerns: my sensor was super dusty when I took this, I scrubbed it out as well as I could with the clone tool but you'd better tell me if I missed anything or introduced any weirdness by doing so. This was shot though a fence, so my framing was kind of chosen for me; is the motive acceptable? It was also hard to find the right thing to level the shot against - I chose the pylon for the jet bridge.

Any other feedback is also appreciated.

Also, if this is good enough to submit, what would I put as the registration? It's the former PH-KCC, but all markings identifying it as such had been removed or covered over, so I'm not sure if that would apply anymore.

Hello,

There are a few dust spots over the fuselage especially visible using equalize in photoshop (thats what I use to clone them out). Level looks good to me. As far as motive I will leave that up to a more experienced member!

Nice shot!

I think the motive is generally okay. You might have a bit of trouble with the amount of space on the right side.

I believe that you should still use PH-KCC as the reg.

Level seems fine. Maybe you could crop it a bit more, eliminating the space on the right. Motive should be fine too.
For registration, I think you should leave that blank (since it has no registration anymore). But remember to fill in the c/n!
Same with airline. I think it should be untitled (as the "KLM" has been removed). You can explain all of that in the remark field, including identity.

If it's still owned by KLM, I'd probably put "Untitled (KLM)" for the airline. If not, then just "Untitled". Honestly, I'm not sure on the reg. I'm guessing leave it blank, but I don't know.

It's a bit low in frame, and there's a bit of extra space on the right.
I'm watching Jeopardy. The category is worst Madonna songs. "This one from 1987 is terrible".
