Post Screening - Stackhouse007

Mon Aug 04, 2014 4:16 pm

Hello everyone, looking for some help.

This shot was rejected for being soft:

So I added some sharpening and resubmitted it. I did not touch anything else since it was only rejected for being soft.

Here is the re-edit that I submitted:

This was now rejected for being blurry, oversharpened, and grainy. How is this possible considering the first time through it was only rejected for soft? So that is all I even touched on the re-edit?

The first one looks Grainy, and a bit lacking in contrast. The Tail looks a bit soft as well. Also very high in frame.

The rejections can be for a single thing. Screeners have agreed that they will try very hard to list all issues with an image on FIRST rejection but it is not a commitment. This means that yes, you can have multiple issues with an image but only get a rejection for any of the issues.
