Hi,

All I can see is that there is some dead space left of the nose, but other than that I think it looks good.

Quoting monsoon84 (Reply 1):

The dead space is fine, but it would likely be rejected for quality/oversharpened and probably editing (for what looks like excessive use of shadow/highlight to brighten the aircraft).
I'm watching Jeopardy. The category is worst Madonna songs. "This one from 1987 is terrible".

Hi,

The Aer Lingus 320 looks ok to me, but maybe a bit compressed for some reason.

Hi john
Don't know why there would be any compression as it was saved at the highest possible quality.

Thanks

The elevator is oversharp, you can see some jagies. otherwise it looks fine.

Your otherone looks a touch hot, and with the elevator cut off it may not work, in my opinion, but it may.

Good call on that one Colin.   I think what I was seeing is slight oversharpening making high contrast edges look weird and I thought it was compression. I agree with Colin on slight oversharpening.

Thank you!

Looking at that photo some more, and the whole photo is oversharp. You can see it in the reg. and the black line near the wings. The crop is kinda off, you should move it it back a bit more and balance it out from the nose and tail.

On the Virgin A320, similar things. The crop needs to be redone, I wouldn't cut the horiz. stab off. And it's a good image, just a little bit oversharpened in some spots. But if you knock the whole image back in sharpening, you will be soft in other areas, such as the titles

I did this edit for Josh and I had to do that because the original had it cut off once the photo was rotated properly. Josh, unfortunattely, I think you'll just have to bin this one.

Cutting off the horizontal stab seems to be somewhat frowned upon, but the way it was done here should not be a motive rejection. See example 15c ('Justified clipping of stabilizer') in the Motive section of the rejection guide.
