I am puzzled about this one. First, I process my images pretty much all the same. That includes minimal sharpening. If an image is not sharp at 100% I throw it out. This image was rejected because:
Reject reason: Blur at nose end, oversharp to compensate blurry oversharpened personal

And I forgot to mention something important. Because these images are substantially reduced, and based on my experience doing that, I set my in camera settings 2-steps down in sharpening so that when the images are reduced there are no artificial halos created by the downsizing.

The original does look quite soft, particularly the front half of the aircraft.
That can look like blur in a resized / edited image.
