Post-screening: Dark

Hi guys. I have plenty of dark rejections in my latest batch, but actually I only have a question about 2 of them:

The first is this one:

Same as my accepted one of the aircraft next to it which actually has a darker paint and is shot against the sun.

Any advice? Maybe I can just increase brightness?

To be honest, I'm surprised your accepted Harrier shot was accepted. Unless it was the first shot of that airframe (which it doesn't appear to be), I would have expected a dark rejection.

The F-5 seems OK to me, though having half the aircraft in shadow is annoying.

I also suggest that cutting tighter at the left on the first image (to remove bright sky) will help a bit. Also looks bit HIF for me.
