This was our first flight in Business ever on Etihad.
Lot's of folks going to India and Pakistan.
Plane was an A380.
Cabin was very spacious and nicely decorated.
Very cozy and comfortable.
Could order whenever you wanted and whatever.
Flat bed. Was not offered to make up bed like on Qatar. As this was the first time I had no idea about the duvet etc which makes the bed more comfy.
Entertainment system was complicated to figure out for my tiny old brain.
Nice Indian dish. Delicious bread.
Delicious pistachio bread and butter pudding.
Woke up 1 hour prior to landing. Delicious pastries. Slept 6 hours.
Landed at the old airport. Toilets at airport had water on floor. Soon figured out why.
We took a taxi to Dubai. Took 1 hour 15 minutes.
Loved the traditional mint drinks in the Gulf.
Stayed at the One and Only on the beach. Nice pool but cold.
Dubai is like Disney Land. Liked it.
Had a free shuttle to the One and One The Palm.
We drove to Ras El Khaimah. Stayed at the Waldorf Astoria. Not expensive.
Drove to Khasab, Oman in 2 hours.
Nice new hotel in Khasab. Heated pool.
Spent the day on a boat. Saw lot's of dolphins following our boat.
This poor guy swam under the boat and hit his head but was OK fortunately.
Had dinner here. Older sister hotel.
Flew on Oman Air Embraer in 40 minutes to Muscat.
Routing. Close to Bandar Abas, Iran.
Landed at the old airport over 1 year ago.
Stayed at the Shangri La Hotel.
Nice Mosque in Muscat.
Visit Nizwa Fort and went to the mountains. The Portuguese built the Fort in the 1600s'.
Diana Point . Lady Diana read a book here for 6 hours while Charles painted. Arrived by helicopter. There was nothi ng here 15 years ago.

Flew Etihad A320 to Abu Dhabi from Muscat in 40 minutes.
Nice sandwiches. For $250 one way for a 40 minute flight at least you get 2 little sandwiches. At least fortunately we used points.
Drove 2 hours to the desert 10 miles from Saudi Arabian border.
Felt sick going up and down.

Nice meal over India; loved the toffee pudding. Was in heaven. Time flew by.

Hot meal on a 1 hour flight.
Sarin Hotel in Phuket. Nice pool and beach.
Took a cruise to Krabi. Phi Phi islands. Did not swim because of the garbage. So polluted that the area has been shut for cleaning. Now reopened.
Flew Thai to Bangkok.
Crew. Flight delayed 1 hour.3 hour flight. Pleasant. Nice crew. Good legroom in economy. Phuket to Hong Kong.
Stayed at Intercontinental harbor view on the 6th floor. Loved watching the boats from our room. Beautiful at night.
Last night stayed at Ritz Carlton on the 107th floor. Beautiful views from the room. Did not move from here for 25 hours. Beautiful shopping mall underground.
Highest pool in the world.
Did something crazy. went by Rolls Royce to the airport.
Loved it. Unfortunately all over in 30 minutes. Wanted to stay.
Hong Kong to New York on Cathay.
Nice meal. Lovely crew. But not a la carte dining like Etihad.
Slept 6 hours. Flew over Alaska in 13 hours.
Etihad food was excellent. Beautifully presented. Crew not so friendly but OK.
Cathay crew wonderful. Food OK.
Very comfortable seats.
Thai pleasant with very nice crews. Bangkok Airways great.

I had no problems with the pictures on another travel site; it worked on Edge, Firefox and Chrome.
Now what is weird is that an hour ago it was only working on Microsoft Edge. It was no longer working on Google Chrome either.
I appreciate you telling me that you can see the pictures. . Even if one person can see them it would be good news. It took me so long to download the pictures that it would be frustrating if they would not come out. I have never heard of Opera. Interesting. Have you written a trip report and if so from where do you download the pictures? Thanks again for telling me.
