*VIDEO only* Concorde & TU-144 Museum Germany (inside Supersonics)

Fri Apr 05, 2019 3:12 am

A must see for the aviation and airline enthusiast. The world's only passenger supersonic airliners displayed next to each other and mounted as if they were taking off. You get to go inside and explore the interior of the aircraft also all the way up to the flight deck.

The Auto & Technik Museum Sinsheim, Germany - the only museum to display the Concorde and Russian Tupolev 144. It's also the only TU-144 on display outside of Russia. Many other aircraft, cars, and more on display in this one of a kind museum.

Directions on how to get to Auto & Technik Museum Sinsheim in video in interested. Frequent train service from Frankfurt with a transfer in Heidelberg to reach Sinsheim with a train station across the street from the museum. A little more than an hour south of central Frankfurt.

I discovered that museum by accident, while driving through Germany. Like you said, it's one of a kind museum, really worth visiting.

The day that I visited, the wind was a little bit strong, so it was a little nerving to be inside the planes with the wind vibrations, but it was an amazing experience.

Agree on wind. Also windy when we went up in the supersonics. You could definitely feel the aircraft moving especially high up by the flight decks. A great experience but also makes you a little nervous high up in the air.
