Southwest being the largest airline at MCO, i decided to take a flight out to SMF. It was my first transcon and I really liked it. I had a 2 hour layover so i visited the "Escape Lounge" while in SMF. Afterwards I went down to BUR where I had my layover. Southwest has Airside 2 (Gates 100-129) to themselves at MCO, with the exception of 2 gates for Alaska.

Flight Info:
~Airline: Southwest Airlines
~Aircraft: Boeing 737-8H4
~Flight Number: WN1741
~From: Orlando (MCO)
~To: Sacramento (SMF)
~Departure Time: 4:15pm PST
~Arrival Time: 1:45pm EST
~Date: July 4th 2019

So I got to MCO around 12pm and I printed out my boarding pass and then headed off to security. Security was great because for it being mid-day, there was like no line at ALL. Very surprising to me in fact. Since it was going to be a 5 hour flight, my dad advised for me to get something to eat so I grabbed Chipotle as my "meal" to eat on the plane. I got cleared and I was able to preboard and I took seat 8F for my 5 hour trek. Departure came and went and so far it was a really great flight. The flight attendants did 2 snack runs and 3 drink runs. 2 for any drink, 1 for water and coffee. As we were cruising over Texas, I ate my food and I was really glad there were clear skies that day, as there was no turbulence. As the flight attendant came buy, I was allowed to get 3 of the Lorna Dean shortbread cookies. Legroom was very good, which is a reason why I picked 8F. The seatback contents weren't in any bad shape. I've got to say the plane was dirty, which I found uncomfortable. In-flight entertainment was awesome, lots of movies, lots of TV choices, and even music. I watch 2 movies and it was great in my opinion. After a while, we started to begin our descent into Sacramento. Landing was smooth and after the flight My dad invited me over to the front to show me the mood lights and how it worked which was really cool as well. Overall this flight was extremely great and I rate it 8.5/10. Would definitely fly Southwest Airlines on a transcon again.
