Aer Lingus A321neoLR / LHR > DUB in Y

Thu Feb 27, 2020 11:38 am

Greetings - Work was taking me to Dublin. Aer Lingus are using their new A321neoLR once a day on the route in between hops across the Atlantic, so this was to be the chariot to take me on the short hop to Dublin. Having pledged my allegiance to BA it was a rare outing from LHR T2. Arrived at 0730 for this 0950 departure. T2 architecture is stunning :

Looking prety similar to LHR T5 is was clean, efficient and headed straight for the EI lounge (Access via BA Silver) :

EI Lounge LHR. Was very pleasant couple of hours. No hot breakfast offered today but cereals, crossaints, pastries, tea coffee, juice and alchohol all available.

Forgot this row number but check Seat Guru if flying on these birds across the Atlantic. Seven hours with no window - no thanks ! :

On approach to DUB over Portmarnock Golf Club. Would love to play this one day ! :

Landed and departed the aircraft thru Biz cabin again (Same seats as their A330) :

Well that was a very nice few hours lounging and then taking a 'long haul' A321 across to DUB. It sure beats the standard BA/EI A320's !

Cheers !

Very nice!
Flew a LH 321 this week. Looking at this config is just a complete breath of fresh air compared to LH’s grey, grey and - grey.
