Hello Everyone,
This is a trip report that was taken in 2018 from Sydney Australia to San Francisco on United Airlines UA870 on Boeing 787-9 in Business First. What I want to really share is the beautiful view of Sydney on takeoff and climbout. It was just spectacular! On a clear day if you are taking off to the north, the place to sit is on the right side of the aircraft. The scenery of the city and surrounding suburbs can be absolutely wonderful. This for sure was one of my favorite flights of all time (in terms of scenery). Enjoy!

Nice departure shots of my home town - but Sydney CBD please ! 
I've only ever banked west after departure on international flights, and the city was blanketed in smoke on my last departure.
I hope the flight was pleasant, although the catering doesn't look great for J.

That's right, it should be CBD! Thanks for the reminder! Will correct for next time. Sydney is such a beautiful city!
Flight was okay but catering like you mention wasn't that great.
