Back in 2019, I had the chance to fly from Hong Kong to San Francisco on United's POLARIS business class. Normally when I fly from Hong Kong to San Francisco, it has always been on Singapore Airlines leaving late at night. But for this particular trip, I decided to change it up as UA was cheaper (at least in economy). Thankfully a few days prior to the flight, I was upgraded to POLARIS! I was super excited as this was the first time flying in a true POLARIS and not the older Business First class. This was also my first time flying on United's 777-300ER. POLARIS business class was superb! Much better than the Business First seats. POLARIS seats are much more private and the food was good and service was adequate. The position of my seat 18L was the very end of the business class section and front of Premium Economy. All in all it was a very good flight!
