During COVID I flew aboard one of Virgin Atlantic’s Airbus A350-1000’s from London to New York. It was a very unusual flight, because there were a mere 27 passengers aboard, and only four others in my cabin.
Hopefully this video captures travelling long haul during a very unusual time, plus the various ways that Virgin has modified their in-flight service.
Bottom Line: This was a punctual way to fly between London and New York. The staff throughout were engaging and pleasant, plus cabin design distinctive and comfort levels good. However, catering standards were significantly below those found on some other airlines who fly this route, which was also the case pre-pandemic.
