I flew with Korean Air's newest jet, Boeing 737 MAX 8 from Seoul Gimpo to Jeju in Business Class(Seoul Gimpo to Jeju is the world's busiest air route). I just stayed at Jeju Airport for about 30 min, and then I flew back to Seoul Gimpo with the same plane and the same crew again in Economy Class. Unfortunately, there was no personal monitors on Korean Air 737 MAX.. but it is likewise understandable because of the Korea’s domestic flight. All domestic flights in Korea takes about an hour.
Korean Air has taken delivery of its first Boeing 737 MAX jet in Feb, 2022, and then started its first service on March.

Thanks for an interesting trip report! It is interesting that domestic flights in South Korean also has no onboard service like Thailand. However, domestic flights in South Korea are even shorter than those in Thailand, so not a big deal, but the ban is not based on any science. So I hope governments can stop this BS soon.
