37 hours in the air, 5 hours in New York.. I tried out the world’s longest non-stop flight twice in a row. I flew from Singapore to New York JFK aboard Singapore Airlines A350-900 ULR in Premium Economy Class. After 5 hours at JFK airport, at same gate, I got back on the same plane to go back to Singapore.
When I flew from Singapore to New York, I traveled over Pacific Ocean route, but I traveled over Atlantic Ocean route instead of Pacific Ocean route from New York to Singapore due to tailwind.
Yes, I did a round the world trip. It took almost 42 hours!
