CO:Very Impressive

Mon Nov 18, 2002 1:38 pm

This weekend I flew CO rt PHL-IAH. I have not been on CO in a long time, and I have to say I was very impressed. The itnerior of the planes were attractive and clean. The agents were very friendly. THey flight left righ on time. There was even a MEAL at lunch time ( gasp!). They came through the cabin twice with drink cart and once with water and juice ( in a 3 1/2 hour flight). Have not seen that car twice on US or UA.The BEST was when leaving IAH I arrived at the airport ealy and asked to be put on an earlier flight. SHock - no problem, no hassel, and NO EXTRA cost or need to buy coupons. Listen to that US and UA!!! I felt I had gone back in time for air travel. No wonder CO has come a long way and out of Chapter 11 once or twice? It is called CUSTOMER SERVICE ( you reading US and UA!) The pax matters. So refreshing!

Congrat CO. You are doing a good job (yes it ws only one rt, but was very impressed).

While the politics of your trip are both interesting and noteworthy, I am also interested in more details of the flights themselves. Which of Conti's aircraft were you flying? In August, I flew their 737NG's; I flew all three -700, -800, and -900. I thought they were awesome planes.
What kind of lunch did you receive? I am so accustomed to AA's Beeeeeeeestrooo Bags that I don't remember this "lunch" you speak of.

What exactly was the meal? I'm guessing some form of chicken, perhaps BBQed?
