I arrived @ LAX T2 around 07:00. The AC counters were fairly busy but I did not have to wait long in the priority line which went smoothly. Checked luggage has to be dropped off at a separate area. I was also allowed to use the priority screening line which didn’t take more than 10 minutes. I didn’t have breakfast yet, so I headed to the AC Maple Leaf lounge. The lounges are all on the second floor with a communal washroom. The lounge was about 1/2 full at the time and provides a decent view of the tarmac. As for the food offerings - it’s a ’continental’ breakfast (toast, cereal, but no eggs or bacon, … etc …) I would still rate the AC Maple Leaf lounges as preferable to “United Clubs’ (or “Red Carpet Clubs’, or whatever they’re called) and pretty decent for a North American domestic business lounge. As mentioned earlier, the lounges on the second floor share a communal washroom (or with anyone else who wanders upstairs). Overall T2 seemed congested.
Boarding commenced on time and was done with priority. The load was 10/14 in J and the Y cabin seemed pretty full. Departure was on time. Once cruising altitude was reached, menus were distributed and orders taken. For the meal service I went with the pancakes and sausage (it was o.k.). Service was good and arrival was on time. My bags had priority tags and were among the first bags out. Overall, an enjoyable AC flight free of incident.
