Conclusion

สวัสดีครับ friends,

First of all, allow my dedication of this report to EK773 who will be visiting Ko Phi Phi himself later this year.

Truly inspiring journey we had with THAI Smile to Krabi thanks to swift and friendly service in distinctive, yet colorful cabin ambiance.

On behalf of my greatest travel companion Herman, I wish to thank Emily and Prae for taking good care of us on board.

More romantic experience we could hardly imagine than ours at charming Nakamanda Resort & Spa where everything was geared to make our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.

Allow us to thank Ms Noon, Ms Por, Mr Ya, Mr Berm and their other colleagues for being so accommodating.

Last but not least to all of you, thank you so much for reading! ขอบคุณครับ

I do hope you enjoy my report as much as I was writing it.

Warmest regards,
Suryo

Amazing Thailand, always amazed you!!
Thank you for your THAI Smile plus class trip report.
It's indeed a refreshing quick 1hr service from BKK to KBV.
However, I've heard complains about the back rows being too narrow compared to THAI airways 34 inches standard. Remember, these birds fly same route with mother TG on CNX, HKT where 744, 777s, 330s, AB6 are much more preferred.

Your trip looks wonderful, I am sure you have had a very happy time over here!
Please don't forget to let me know if you are around here in Phuket!
Though I must say it's much more quieter in Krabi!

Thank you for your neat work once again!
Brgds,

Let's just blame it on yields.

Hi Suryo,

great report and good to see TG Smile around, love the cabin colours/seat cloth design! I see the 3-3 layout with blocked middle seat also appears in Thailand.

Stupid spelling error on their website, mentioning 'bussiness' instead of business...
The catering seems very sufficient for this short flight and totally my liking

Great read Suryo. Glad to see your Thai domestic went a lot smoother than mine! I was planning on going for Thai Smile when I did my trip down to HKT, but the lure of the mainline A300 and 744 meant I chose them instead. So good to see a bit of insight into what I missed.

Interesting how row 33 was at the front of the aircraft. Not seen this before - normally on the narrow bodies, they start at row 1.

Considering you went business, the meal offering didn't look all that special considering I got something pretty similar in economy on TG.

Nice looking accommodation you had - seems like you had a very relaxing break! And no doubt it was nice and hot, just the way you like it!!

Nice report Suryo. It's interesting to see TG Smile Business class. I wonder if they understand how to keep their costs down...I mean all the ground handling seems to be as per TG normal. I guess it's only on the plane that it become a LCC J class. I don't think i've seen Euro style seats like that in Asia before. Interesting mix of real glasses, and cheap paper boxes! Was there booze available?

Krabi looks amazing. I went when I was a kid, maybe it's time to go back!?!

Hi Suryo !

Thanks for yet another amazing report with amazing pictures ! I don't recall you going to Thailand but I guess that was last year.....

Nice to get a direct flight to Krabi but the cabin doesn't look impressive at all for Business class. Looks just as bad as intra-Europe flights....

The cabin looks okay but not my taste in colors.

Krabi looks great and it looks like you had a good time there.

I think it's the first report on Thai Smile and it's good to get to know more about the part of TG.

Many thanks for the picture and dedication of HS-TAY! I had a nice short flight on that aircraft 20Feb04 HAN-BKK.

Very much looking forward to your next report!

My God Suryo, this is an absolutely fantasmogorically amazing trip report!

Actually the flying part looks somewhat forgettable, and I concur with James that it would be nice if a better meal is served in Business Class, but your destination photos....

Your resort in Krabi looks fantastic, a great choice for sure. I wouldn't complain if I had to stay in that villa

And then Ko Phi Phi... Thailand is [almost] at the top of the list for a future trip, so I'm pretty certain where I'll be going when I'm there

Thank you so much,

สวัสดี akhmad!

You left me a bit confused here   First you are in Peru and next thing you are in Thailand   Yeah I know - confusing your readers is part of your ‘surprise strategy’! Well it certainly worked withe me   Anyway, a nice story nevertheless and boy, does that villa resort where you stayed in look nice. For sure a recommendable place to get away from it all! As for Thai Smile, I don’t quite know what to think ot them, the cabin itself looks fine but the crew’s uniforms... hmm I don’t know. At least you got the Thai service which is nothing short of warm and attentive!

Suryo !! What a TR man..absolutely fabulous.

1. Thai smile service looks absolutely amazing, other domestic carriers around in Asia, Europe, US, Aus, Africa should take some inspiration from this.

2. That A340-600 Thai picture is so brilliant and without doubt A340-600 is one of the most amazingly balanced and gorgeous aircraft.

3. Place where you went is so enchanting....exotic villa, beaches, food....I am dying to visit Thailand.

Hi Suryo,
Like others I was expecting to see the next instalment from Peru. But this is a wonderful step into the past.

The Thai Smile experience seems decent enough with friendly crew, reasonable seat-pitch (though I am not all that keen on the striped upholstery) and a meal suitable for the journey time.

Hi Suryo,

You have me confused too

Still, it was a wonderful report! A friend of mine went to Krabi a while back and said we have to go there. Now I’ve seen your pictures I understand why.

Your impressions of Thai Smile leave me with a very positive feeling. I like the livery (so colourful!), the seats, the snackbox….but am not too sure about the women wearing shorts as uniform. That’s a bit too relaxed if you ask me.

I didn’t know about the strange seat numbering on certain Asian carriers, so I’ve learnt something new.

Your hotel looks quite simply out of this world. I bet that was a very special birthday celebration.

Hi Suryo,

what a wonderful report again. A nice reminder of my own trip to Thailand earlier this year. And a nice flight with Thai Smile it was, that snack box looks really good.

Looks like you really enjoyed your stay in the resort, definitely looks amazing. And all these food pictures, so delicious, it makes me hungry again, even though I just had dinner   ...

Again thanks a lot for this report

Hi Suryo!

I recently returned from Thailand and was really excited to see your trip report with THAIsmile! I would have booked with THAIsmile BKK-HKT, however, I scrolled down TG's website and saw the 744!!!! I love flying inside the 744! I was lucky to have 4 segments on this plane with both DL and TG in and out of BKK!

Quoting akhmad (Thread starter):

Quoting akhmad (Reply 4):

Very warm and tropical it must feel.

Quoting akhmad (Reply 4):
Large bathtub

I hope the large green leaves outside don't make one feel they are back in the bathtub and cause some unnecessary public undressing LOL.....the leaves in the surrounding bathtub area looks so refreshing and invigorating.

Quoting akhmad (Reply 4):

Happy Birthday!

Quoting akhmad (Reply 5):
’Here we are, Lykke Li!’

Made sense to play the Youtube video in the background and read the lyrics in the report at the same time...Only you Akhmad, only you!!

It was last year November.

**********************************************************

flightsimboy, Nils, Ayostus, Hannah,

Quoting flightsimboy (Reply 6):
We last saw you in Peru.....and now Thailand?
Quoting Sultanils (Reply 16):
You left me a bit confused here   First you are in Peru and next thing you are in Thailand
Quoting AyostoLeon (Reply 21):
Like others I was expecting to see the next instalment from Peru.
Quoting infodesk (Reply 23):
You have me confused too

I am sorry.

**********************************************************

Atthaphon, Léonard, Lars, Alex, Kristian, Ayostus, Philip, CaptainRed, AirAfreak,

Quoting nethkt (Reply 7):

Quoting odafz (Reply 18):
Thank you for sharing a truly amazing experience.
Quoting AyostoLeon (Reply 21):
Thank you, Suryo, for letting us have a brief peak into a magnificent holiday destination.
Quoting OA260 (Reply 22):

Quoting CaptainRed (Reply 24):

Atthaphon, Lars,

Quoting nethkt (Reply 7):
Your trip looks wonderful, I am sure you have had a very happy time over here!
Quoting The777Man (Reply 13):
and it looks like you had a good time there.

We were indeed having a great time!

**********************************************************

Atthaphon, Markus, theaviator380, Ayostus, Hannah, CaptainRed,

Quoting nethkt (Reply 7):
It's indeed a refreshing quick 1hr service from BKK to KBV.
Quoting FLIEGER67 (Reply 14):
Also the flight looks like good.
Quoting theaviator380 (Reply 17):
1. Thai smile service looks absolutely amazing, other domestic carriers around in Asia, Europe, US, Aus, Africa should take some inspiration from this.
Quoting AyostoLeon (Reply 21):
The Thai Smile experience seems decent enough with friendly crew, reasonable seat-pitch
Quoting AyostoLeon (Reply 21):
and a meal suitable for the journey time.
Quoting AyostoLeon (Reply 21):
A cheerful livery to get you into the holiday mood.
Quoting infodesk (Reply 23):
Your impressions of Thai Smile leave me with a very positive feeling. I like the livery (so colourful!), the seats, the snackbox….
Quoting CaptainRed (Reply 24):
And a nice flight with Thai Smile it was, that snack box looks really good.

Vibrant, fun, speedy, trendy and friendly.

**********************************************************

Eric, James, Léonard, Gabriel, Lars, Markus, Alex, Nils, theaviator380, Kristian, PH, Burj, Ayostus, Philip, Hannah, CaptainRed, AirAfreak,

Quoting airbuseric (Reply 8):
great report and good to see TG Smile around
Quoting jwhite9185 (Reply 9):
Great read Suryo.
Quoting jwhite9185 (Reply 9):
So good to see a bit of insight into what I missed.
Quoting eastafspot (Reply 10):
Beautiful TR with amazing pictures in a such lovely country!
Quoting gabrielchew (Reply 12):
Nice report Suryo.
Quoting The777Man (Reply 13):
and it's good to get to know more about the part of TG.
Quoting FLIEGER67 (Reply 14):
now that´s a set of really great pictures, well done.
Quoting RyanairGuru (Reply 15):
My God Suryo, this is an absolutely fantasmogorically amazing trip report!
Quoting Sultanils (Reply 16):
Anyway, a nice story nevertheless
Quoting theaviator380 (Reply 17):
Suryo !! What a TR man..absolutely fabulous.
Quoting theaviator380 (Reply 17):
Smashing TR.
Quoting odafz (Reply 18):
As always a treat to the eyes. beautiful and amazing
Quoting odafz (Reply 18):
The photos are superb.
Quoting PlaneHunter (Reply 19):
excellent report with many stunning pictures! Good idea to try Thai Smile, always nice to see something about a rare carrier.
Quoting Burj (Reply 20):
Oh WOW! Awesome trip report as always!
Quoting AyostoLeon (Reply 21):
But this is a wonderful step into the past.
Quoting OA260 (Reply 22):
WOW Suryo !   Amazing report. Full of colour and treats
Quoting infodesk (Reply 23):
Still, it was a wonderful report!
Quoting CaptainRed (Reply 24):
what a wonderful report again. A nice reminder of my own trip to Thailand earlier this year.
Quoting AirAfreak (Reply 25):
was really excited to see your trip report with THAIsmile!
Quoting AirAfreak (Reply 25):
I love reading your trip reports, btw!!!

ขอบคุณครับ! Thank you for the kind words.

**********************************************************

Eric, Gabriel,

Quoting airbuseric (Reply 8):
I see the 3-3 layout with blocked middle seat also appears in Thailand.
Quoting gabrielchew (Reply 12):
I don't think i've seen Euro style seats like that in Asia before.

Spot on.

**********************************************************

Eric, PH, flightsimboy,

Quoting airbuseric (Reply 8):
The catering seems very sufficient for this short flight and totally my liking
Quoting PlaneHunter (Reply 19):
That looks like a nice meal.
Quoting flightsimboy (Reply 26):
Nice offerings.

That is good to hear.

RE: Thai Smile Plus To Krabi And Phi Phi

Sat Nov 02, 2013 11:59 am

Eric, PH, Philip,

Quoting airbuseric (Reply 8):
love the cabin colours/seat cloth design!
Quoting PlaneHunter (Reply 19):
Nice interior colors!
Quoting OA260 (Reply 22):
I loved the seat design on Thai Smile too.

Vibrant and trendy!

**********************************************************

James, Léonard,

Quoting jwhite9185 (Reply 9):
Interesting how row 33 was at the front of the aircraft. Not seen this before - normally on the narrow bodies, they start at row 1.
Quoting eastafspot (Reply 10):
This is surprising the seat numbers start from 31, why not from 1 ?

Eric has provided us with the answer:

Quoting airbuseric (Reply 11):
James, very common in Asia. You'll also find it a lot in China.

**********************************************************

James, Léonard, Alex, Nils, Ayostus, Philip, Hannah, CaptainRed,

Quoting jwhite9185 (Reply 9):
Nice looking accommodation you had - seems like you had a very relaxing break!
Quoting eastafspot (Reply 10):
The resort you stayed in looks very comfortable and exclusive!
Quoting RyanairGuru (Reply 15):
Your resort in Krabi looks fantastic, a great choice for sure. I wouldn't complain if I had to stay in that villa
Quoting Sultanils (Reply 16):
and boy, does that villa resort where you stayed in look nice. For sure a recommendable place to get away from it all!
Quoting AyostoLeon (Reply 21):
As always, you have managed to find the most perfect hideaway. The ambience is both chic and calming.
Quoting OA260 (Reply 22):
Lovely hotel/food
Quoting infodesk (Reply 23):
Your hotel looks quite simply out of this world.
Quoting CaptainRed (Reply 24):
Looks like you really enjoyed your stay in the resort, definitely looks amazing.

Truly a tranquil paradise, located on a beautiful private cove in the unspoilt Klong Muang area of Krabi.

**********************************************************

James, Alex,

Quoting jwhite9185 (Reply 9):
Considering you went business, the meal offering didn't look all that special considering I got something pretty similar in economy on TG.
Quoting RyanairGuru (Reply 15):
and I concur with James that it would be nice if a better meal is served in Business Class,

Yet it’s more substantial than the light snack served in “Smile” Economy Class.

**********************************************************

James, AirAfreak,

Quoting jwhite9185 (Reply 9):
I was planning on going for Thai Smile when I did my trip down to HKT, but the lure of the mainline A300 and 744 meant I chose them instead.
Quoting AirAfreak (Reply 25):
I would have booked with THAIsmile BKK-HKT, however, I scrolled down TG's website and saw the 744!!!!

Good move, I would say.

**********************************************************

James, flightsimboy,

Quoting jwhite9185 (Reply 9):
And no doubt it was nice and hot, just the way you like it!!
Quoting flightsimboy (Reply 26):
Very warm and tropical it must feel.

Definitely!

**********************************************************

Leonard, Lars,

Quoting eastafspot (Reply 10):
looking forward to reading the beginning and/or the end of this journey
Quoting The777Man (Reply 13):
Very much looking forward to your next report!

Thank you for encouraging.

**********************************************************

Leonard, Markus, Alex, Burj, Ayostus,

Quoting eastafspot (Reply 10):
Absolutely stunning!
Quoting FLIEGER67 (Reply 14):
I like these exotic Thai scenery.
Quoting RyanairGuru (Reply 15):
but your destination photos....
Quoting Burj (Reply 20):
It just looks so beautiful there!
Quoting AyostoLeon (Reply 21):
Stunning!

Amazing Thailand, always amazes you.

**********************************************************

Leonard, Alex, theaviator380,

Quoting eastafspot (Reply 10):
I should go there one day
Quoting RyanairGuru (Reply 15):
And then Ko Phi Phi... Thailand is [almost] at the top of the list for a future trip, so I'm pretty certain where I'll be going when I'm there
Quoting theaviator380 (Reply 17):
3. Place where you went is so enchanting....exotic villa, beaches, food....I am dying to visit Thailand.

   Please do.

**********************************************************

Léonard, Nils, Philip, flightsimboy,

Quoting eastafspot (Reply 10):
Great picture, first time i see a FA wearing a short, and your T-shirt matches perfectly with their outfits too, well done!   .
Quoting Sultanils (Reply 16):
‘Oops, he did it again’!
Quoting OA260 (Reply 22):
I see your T Shirt blended in with the crew uniforms
Quoting flightsimboy (Reply 26):
Thank you for taking pics with the cabin crews....it serves as a nice momento for them too to remember nice passengers this way

ขอบคุณครับ! Thank you!

**********************************************************

Gabriel, Lars, Hannah,

Quoting gabrielchew (Reply 12):
Krabi looks amazing. I went when I was a kid, maybe it's time to go back!?!
Quoting The777Man (Reply 13):
Krabi looks great
Quoting infodesk (Reply 23):
A friend of mine went to Krabi a while back and said we have to go there. Now I’ve seen your pictures I understand why.

Krabi is Thailand’s most stunning southern province.

**********************************************************

Lars, Alex, Ayostus,

Quoting The777Man (Reply 13):
but the cabin doesn't look impressive at all for Business class. Looks just as bad as intra-Europe flights....
Quoting The777Man (Reply 13):
The cabin looks okay but not my taste in colors.
Quoting RyanairGuru (Reply 15):
Actually the flying part looks somewhat forgettable,
Quoting AyostoLeon (Reply 21):
(though I am not all that keen on the striped upholstery)

Fair enough.

**********************************************************

Nils, PH, Hannah,

Quoting Sultanils (Reply 16):
the cabin itself looks fine but the crew’s uniforms... hmm I don’t know.
Quoting PlaneHunter (Reply 19):
The uniforms look a bit weird.
Quoting infodesk (Reply 23):
but am not too sure about the women wearing shorts as uniform. That’s a bit too relaxed if you ask me.

I suppose THAI Smile’s uniforms are designed to create a more social and approachable identity, one that has wider appeal in younger demographics, THAI Smiles target market.

flightsimboy,

Quoting flightsimboy (Reply 6):
You do travel a lot don't you

So it seems.

Quoting flightsimboy (Reply 6):
Will reply to this later.

Take your time.

Quoting flightsimboy (Reply 26):
Love how you start your report with a preview of what is to come lol....
Quoting flightsimboy (Reply 26):
Made sense to play the Youtube video in the background and read the lyrics in the report at the same time...Only you Akhmad, only you!!

ขอบคุณครับ! Thank you!

Quoting flightsimboy (Reply 26):
Very attractive FAs

Dedicated FA’s who are refreshingly young, vibrant and friendly, providing the same service excellence as the THAI experience.

Quoting flightsimboy (Reply 26):
I bet you Ariel can in a flash!!

Ariel did try…

Quoting flightsimboy (Reply 26):
I'd hardly be smiling realizing my camera got Thai's purple as Blue....so many cameras do that...what is it with Thai's purple turning up that way...Aaggh!!

Luckily you can fix it afterwards.

Quoting flightsimboy (Reply 26):
How I love that bird....how I love her.....

You make me think of your Etihad’s experience somehow.

Quoting flightsimboy (Reply 26):
and to think her shorter sister is slowly starting to slow fade into the shadows...

I was lucky to be on board of Emirates’ Airbus A340-500 once.

Quoting flightsimboy (Reply 26):
May the Airbus A340-600 continue to fly for a while.....

Let’s keep faith with it.

Quoting flightsimboy (Reply 26):
I hope the large green leaves outside don't make one feel they are back in the bathtub and cause some unnecessary public undressing LOL.....

Quoting flightsimboy (Reply 26):
the leaves in the surrounding bathtub area looks so refreshing and invigorating.

Indeed. An unique ambiance of ultra private garden scenery.

Quoting flightsimboy (Reply 26):
How do you keep so fit....!! I'm not heavy set but getting a bit more fit would be nice....

I bicycle to my office which is located at 11 kilometers from home.

Quoting flightsimboy (Reply 26):
IrishAyes did share some tips sometime back...

I attend some classes as well like Zumba and BodyPump.

Quoting flightsimboy (Reply 26):
good you guys have your routine workouts!

Apart from aviation, IrishAyes and I share another passion, PowerYoga!

Quoting flightsimboy (Reply 26):
The Thais are known for even more intricate fruit carvings....to a point it is an art in itself.

True words.

Quoting flightsimboy (Reply 26):
I am sure there is word for it.

I only know the Japanese word, Mukimono.

Quoting flightsimboy (Reply 26):
Happy Birthday!

Thank you on Herman’s behalf!

**********************************************************

Atthaphon,

Quoting nethkt (Reply 7):
Amazing Thailand, always amazed you!!

True words!

Quoting nethkt (Reply 7):
However, I've heard complains about the back rows being too narrow compared to THAI airways 34 inches standard.

The back row is indeed too narrow at 28 inches.

Quoting nethkt (Reply 7):
Remember, these birds fly same route with mother TG on CNX, HKT where 744, 777s, 330s, AB6 are much more preferred.

Not surprising considering the more generous legroom.

Quoting nethkt (Reply 7):
Please don't forget to let me know if you are around here in Phuket!

I won’t forget!

Quoting nethkt (Reply 7):
Though I must say it's much more quieter in Krabi!

I believe you!

**********************************************************

Hi Eric,

Quoting airbuseric (Reply 8):
Stupid spelling error on their website, mentioning 'bussiness' instead of business...

Oops…

Quoting airbuseric (Reply 11):
James, very common in Asia. You'll also find it a lot in China.

Thank you for enlightening us.

**********************************************************

James,

Quoting jwhite9185 (Reply 9):
Glad to see your Thai domestic went a lot smoother than mine!

You have a point. I remember the delay of your outbound domestic flight.

**********************************************************

Gabriel,

Quoting gabrielchew (Reply 12):
It's interesting to see TG Smile Business class. I wonder if they understand how to keep their costs down...I mean all the ground handling seems to be as per TG normal. I guess it's only on the plane that it become a LCC J class.

With TG Smile, you will still enjoy many of the complimentary services provided by TG.

Quoting gabrielchew (Reply 12):
Interesting mix of real glasses, and cheap paper boxes!

The inflight meal presentation is indeed one of the few differences with TG.

Quoting gabrielchew (Reply 12):
Was there booze available?

Booze is only offered on international flights.

**********************************************************

Hi Lars!

Quoting The777Man (Reply 13):
I think it's the first report on Thai Smile

Well, Win1290 gets the credit actually. Thai Smile Inaugural: Bangkok To Macau, July 2012 (by win1290 Jul 12 2012 in Trip Reports)

Quoting The777Man (Reply 13):
Many thanks for the picture and dedication of HS-TAY! I had a nice short flight on that aircraft 20Feb04 HAN-BKK.

My pleasure.

**********************************************************

สวัสดี Nils!

Quoting Sultanils (Reply 16):
Yeah I know - confusing your readers is part of your ‘surprise strategy’!

You just see through me!

Quoting Sultanils (Reply 16):
Well it certainly worked withe me

Mission accomplished.

Quoting Sultanils (Reply 16):
At least you got the Thai service which is nothing short of warm and attentive!

No doubt about it!

Quoting Sultanils (Reply 16):
What a funny construction, that scale looks like it comes out of my kitchen!

Quoting Sultanils (Reply 16):
This pic really shows what a remarkable piece of construction and engineering Suvarnabhumi airport really is.

Agreed!

Quoting Sultanils (Reply 16):
Looks rather pleasant and a clever idea to cordon of the middle seat with that ‘table cloth’

Lovely, isn’t it?

Quoting Sultanils (Reply 16):
You sound just like an aircraft engineer   Perhaps you are?

Thank you for the honor, but no, I am not an aircraft engineer

Quoting Sultanils (Reply 16):
I suspect Herman to have been the lucky man?

theaviator380!

Quoting theaviator380 (Reply 17):
2. That A340-600 Thai picture is so brilliant

Thank you.

Quoting theaviator380 (Reply 17):
and without doubt A340-600 is one of the most amazingly balanced and gorgeous aircraft.

So true!

**********************************************************

Kristian,

Quoting odafz (Reply 18):
You should work for the Thai Tourist organisation

Thank you for the honor.

**********************************************************

Hi PH!

Quoting PlaneHunter (Reply 19):
But what happened to your Peru series?

Still in process.

Quoting PlaneHunter (Reply 19):
Schweppes Dry Ginger Ale for me, please!

Sure!

Quoting PlaneHunter (Reply 19):
Nice!

Instinctively service minded and it shows!

**********************************************************

Burj,

Quoting Burj (Reply 20):
So how does Thai smile compare to normal TG in terms of service (since obviously there are hard and soft product differences....)

The inflight meal presentation is one of the few differences. But then again, with THAI Smile, you will still enjoy many of the complimentary services provided by TG.

**********************************************************

Hi Ayostus,

Quoting AyostoLeon (Reply 21):
Even more cheerful and exotic livery.

Quoting AyostoLeon (Reply 21):
What an amazing contrast to DXB!

Imagine how it might feel arriving at KBV after a flight from DXB!

Quoting AyostoLeon (Reply 21):
I'll go with the latter, please. The meals look positively mouth-watering.
Quoting AyostoLeon (Reply 21):
"Oh, I do like to be beside the seaside..."

You and I just think alike.

**********************************************************

Philip!

Quoting OA260 (Reply 22):
and airports/lounges.

Smooth as silk, as per THAI’s slogan.

**********************************************************

Hi Hannah,

Quoting infodesk (Reply 23):
I didn’t know about the strange seat numbering on certain Asian carriers, so I’ve learnt something new.

That’s good.

Quoting infodesk (Reply 23):
I bet that was a very special birthday celebration.

Absolutely!

Quoting infodesk (Reply 23):
What a great picture!

ขอบคุณครับ! Thank you!

Quoting infodesk (Reply 23):
I thought it looked familiar

Hence, visitor numbers soared in the film’s wake.

**********************************************************

Hi CaptainRed,

Quoting CaptainRed (Reply 24):
And all these food pictures, so delicious, it makes me hungry again, even though I just had dinner    ...

No wonder Thai cuisine is one of the world’s finest.

**********************************************************

Hi AirAfreak!

Quoting AirAfreak (Reply 25):
I recently returned from Thailand

Seriously? How nice!

Quoting AirAfreak (Reply 25):
I love flying inside the 744! I was lucky to have 4 segments on this plane with both DL and TG in and out of BKK!

Still nothing beats the romantic flying with The Queen of The Sky!

**********************************************************

สหาย,

Once again, thank you so much for all your heartwarming replies! Have a nice weekend!

Warmest regards,
Suryo  Smile

Goedenavond Suryo,

Another amazing report you made here as always, although I am a bit confused as after your last report you were in Peru! Thank you very much for sharing your experience on Thai Smile's "Business class". The interior really looks great and the service nice. That snack box looks very good and sufficient for the short duration of the flight.
The resort & spa you stayed at looks very nice and relaxing. Your destination pictures look wonderful as always! Thailand sure is a beautiful country
Quoting akhmad (Thread starter):
Smile PLUS short haul business class service features 12 seats on domestic flights,’

A little spelling mistake there, bussiness class   Also interesting to see row 33, although very common in Asia!

Quoting akhmad (Thread starter):
Outdoor area

Looks like somebody did some shopping at Schiphol there
Quoting akhmad (Thread starter):
Birthday cake

Very nice!

Thanks for another amazing report Suryo, enjoyed it as always!

Fijne Avond!

cheers,

Wonderful report. Thanks for writing it up. I am convinced Paul Smith did their seats  .

BTW, not impressed with the on-board meal. Is it just from their BOB menu?

Brendan, Win,

Quoting adamspotter (Reply 31):
The interior really looks great and the service nice.
Quoting win1290 (Reply 32):
Thai Smiles looks nice and the snack box looks quite heavy!

Vibrant, fun, speedy, trendy and friendly.

Goede middag Brendan,

Quoting adamspotter (Reply 31):
although I am a bit confused as after your last report you were in Peru!

I am sorry.

Quoting adamspotter (Reply 31):
That snack box looks very good and sufficient for the short duration of the flight.

That is good to hear.

Quoting adamspotter (Reply 31):
The resort & spa you stayed at looks very nice and relaxing.

Truly a tranquil paradise, located on a beautiful private cove in the unspoilt Klong Muang area of Krabi.

Quoting adamspotter (Reply 31):
Thailand sure is a beautiful country

Amazing Thailand, always amazes you.

Quoting adamspotter (Reply 31):
A little spelling mistake there, bussiness class

Oops…

Quoting adamspotter (Reply 31):
Also interesting to see row 33, although very common in Asia!

Quoting adamspotter (Reply 31):
Looks like somebody did some shopping at Schiphol there

Who didn’t?

Quoting adamspotter (Reply 31):
Very nice!

The staff members instinctively made a special arrangement once they became aware of Herman’s birthday.

Quoting adamspotter (Reply 31):
Fijne Avond!

Fijne zondag!

Alex,

Quoting abrelosojos (Reply 33):
I am convinced Paul Smith did their seats  .

Who knows?

Quoting abrelosojos (Reply 33):
BTW, not impressed with the on-board meal.

Fair enough.

Quoting abrelosojos (Reply 33):
Is it just from their BOB menu?

No, the meal was specially catered for Smile Plus.

สหาย,

Thank you so much for the heartwarming replies! Once again, I am sorry for my late reply.
