Here we are, "Flughafen Stuttgart Manfred Rommel", early morning, nothing really new to me!.
Is there something blue to fly out today?.
So it looks like, but wait, a first view to the screens
and also a short visit to the Skyteam Lounge sounds necessary.
The fare is 51.00 Euro´s managed by Tripsta.de
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/CPH07/CZECHAPRIL2014001_zps2f2fa3be.jpg
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/CPH07/CZECHAPRIL2014002_zpsb0e58847.jpg
Ah, here it is at gate 310. 06.00 am, perfectly ontime, 1.00 hour. "KLM" ready to go, hopefully, from runway "Zero-Seven" at 8 degrees.
"PH-EZY", the one without an individual name, old joke, an E190, new to the log and leg no. 32 on type.
A new machine, first in the air at 29.11.2013, 28 examples are in the fleet and there are no stories to show
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/CPH07/CZECHAPRIL2014004_zps77bb0e31.jpg
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/CPH07/CZECHAPRIL2014005_zps94cde684.jpg
Just for a cabin view with the dark blue leathers and the legroom is ok, sure, I like the E-jet, at least till now.
26D, the load is 100%, simply no open seat to spot, thanx to LH pilots on strike.
One senior english woman and one younger asian guy working the cabin, both nice.
Cockpit crew is from the Netherlands, the "Bevelhebber" with a nice and relaxed welcome during boarding and the FO twice nice also inflight dutch style. No route or flightlevel info

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/CPH07/CZECHAPRIL2014007_zps746e5658.jpg
And a warm welcome to the original and premium dutch cheese creations together with free drinks, off course

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/CPH07/CZECHAPRIL2014009_zps13cd504d.jpg
Arrived at "Luchthaven Schiphol" not that long thereafter.
Touchdown at "One-Eight-Center", 3300 meters, 07.15 am, short ahead to schedule, 12 degrees and fog

Markus, good to follow you on KLM. Pretty standard service these days on the morning runs, I like these sandwiches, and I feel much appreciation by other passengers as well. It's a keeper for KLM, but maybe some diversity in tastes or 2 choices (cheese-chicken) would be the way to go.

Hey Markus:

Quoting FLIEGER67 (Thread starter):
Here are all the flights done till now in 2015:

...that looks insane (I'm probably saying that because I haven't flown much at all this year.)

Quoting FLIEGER67 (Thread starter):
I like the E-jet, at least till now.

Sometimes I wish Air Canada can bring E190 back for YVR to LAX instead of the AC Rouge A319 with 29" pitch...

737-900? I've been on it with UA already.   Honestly North America is so infested with 737s that it's fairly boring as a spotter. You seem to have a better variety of planes in Europe.

Strange coincidence that you got on this plane and this flight. This is the same plane and route that I flew on a 737-900 for the first time, back in 2002!

Since then the 737-900 is pretty standard around here and that' s what I get a lot of the time.
Just came back from SEA a few weeks ago on an A320 and that was a treat to ride on (yes it is so "exotic").

Where do you get the money and the time to do all this flying?

Are you independently wealthy?

Hi Markus,

Good to read another of your reports - KL, shame you didn't have time for the Lounge but a nice catch with the 739, missing in the log here!

Hi Markus,

Nice little report on KLM.

Funny slogan on the woodbox, "We care for our chickens" ... by chopping them up and putting them in sandwiches?. OK.

That photo of the jet on the roof is cool.

Nice photos of Paris, too, although it's a shame the sun wasn't out. At least it wasn't raining.

Hello Markus, sorry for the delayed reply, I am busy clearing the backlog here!
Great report and good to hear you finally catched the KLM 739. They are hard to get indeed, with KL often changing their 737 's around. Had a 739 in a booking for two weeks, but got subsitited to a 738. Fortunately I have flown the 739 already. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to reading about Travelservcie!

Hi Markus,

also sorry for the late reply, must have missed this report on the first round. Now that's the way to get to Paris from Stuttgart, of course with a stop in AMS   .

Anyway a good read, and congrats of course to log the 737-900. It's the only 737 subtype that is also still missing in my log. KLM good as expected, nice to see that they still serve a sandwich even on these short routes.

Greetings

Thank you and sure ok this way. True words with KL and the 739, not easy to catch, but lucky me this way.
