RE: Facebook Airline Manager Part 3

Now that I've established flights from all 3 of my hubs, I'm focusing big-time on building up the main hub at ORD. Been buying some 734's, Q-300's, Q-400's and some ERJ 170's and have begun an earnest build-up of hte ORD operation. I'll expand SFO and MCO now and then, but most of the new flights will be in/out of ORD for now. I do want to start SFO-Asia, and some ORD and MCO to Europe eventually. But now, I'm content with a nice, steady growth of Union Airlines.

Hmm. I have a feeling (and HadAPheo) that there may be some serious use of multiple venture capital infusions funding the numerous fleet changes.

I would have to agree with that. Lets see:

8 X 757-300 @ $7,102,640 each is roughly $ 56.8 Mil

2 X 767-200ER @ $14,199,834 each is roughly $28.4 Mil

That is some serious cash and would have required a venture investment of at least $40!  Silly

Heck I feel quite proud to be using my Yak 42s to rake in the dough and through some serious flight management I am nearing 100 million cash on hand.

I may add one or two as C checks are approaching on other metal. Though I am somewhat intrigued by the Dassault Mercure ... but I think I will stick with the Yak-42s

How much does it cost for a C-check?

I think the cost is related to the size and cost of the plane. In addition I have heard that nasty things happen if you do not perform your C checks, there was talk of crashes etc for not performing a C check in a reasonable period of time after the warning

I think that would cost you a few reputation points and $$

I buy an a/c each day sometimes two. My 753 was just delivered and my 762ER will be on Wednesday. I am struggling too but I buy an a/c each day due to my routes and the number of hours I am online. I run each a/c 24/7 and will stop once I reach my goal of 30 a/c.

Drayton Airlines is pleased to announce the purchase of it's 10th aircraft and it's stock reaching $1 per share. Unfortunately however, due to the CEO having to travel to Spain for 2 days, growth for the rest of the week may be a little slower than usual, although hopefully our 1st widebody aircraft should be arriving by the weekend. Also due to the dyslexic route planner opening a new route to Banjul (64%) rather than Bangui (99%), one of our 753's is not earning to it's full potential. This again should be rectified shortly. CEO Michael O'Dreary apologises for this small mishap.
"Our 319's are very reliable. They get fixed very quickly."

When i first starting playing AM, i received 2 e-mails for cargo flights. I refused as i didn't have a cargo plane and i didn't really know what the hell i was doing in general. Anyways, i haven't received anymore invites. Do i need to do something to get an offer or is it a random thing?

I'm just curious, are the developers members on A.Net?

Pan West Airlines has been doing excellent since our route restructuring. Our main hub is YUL, with ARN as a focus city. The backbone of our fleet is the 753 and 788 with 2 A300 for short haul high capacity routes.

Stock is up at $2.83 with more aircraft coming soon!

Try to hold on fuel will drop in about 7-8hrs. You can probably send 1 ultra long haul and go into negative numbers.

All my planes are in the air right now, it would fit perfectly when the price would drop in 7 hours.

I too have been watching "fuel" prices for the past 2 days.. I am down to about 150,000,000 lbs and need more but it has not been below the 600 USD mark yet... Advertising on the other hand has been really cheap these past few days...

I bought 50000 stocks of Privjet when they were at $1.13. Two weeks later and they are at $23.18  eyepopping  the value of my stock in this airline is well over $1 Mil!!! Big grin  Big grin

My airline grew from $39 to $62 in only 2 weeks. Thanks to my I-Phone, I play the game constantly so my aircraft are always flying. I would say my airline would be a very smart investment.. Plenty of shares available...

Update from Vega9000 Airlines.

The fleet restructuring is now complete, with the ERJ145ERs gone and replaced by 4 ERJ190-200, 4 BAe146 and one 190-200LR, for the LIS-ATH route. Together with the 737, the airline has now a fleet of 10 planes, bringing in over 1 million per leg.
The share price has gone up from 0.18 a few days ago to a current 0.32 and rising.
As for future plans, we are now going to spend a few days just saving some money to build up a comfortable cushion. Plans are to keep opening short haul routes from our LIS hub to Europe and the Mediterranean (TLL is being considered with a new LR), and open some medium haul routes with more serious, and expensive, equipment.

We are getting curious about the YAK42D to possibly replace the BAe146, but they need too many crew members in our view, and we wonder if it's worth the change to gain 41 passengers on short haul.

This is now our route map:

Don't believe anything you read on the net. Except this. Well, including this, I suppose.

Your progress is encouraging... encouraging enough to buy many shares in your fine company.

I think it may be time to open up a 3rd focus city and focus on longer flights. But in the meantime I am focusing on connecting the dots and upgrading high performing flights with some long haul expansion. My target is to have 5 787s by Saturday (2 currently in fleet).

any suggestions for a good 3rd focus city operation.... existing hubs/focus cities are ABQ and SFO. Preferably in North America and can connect to many of my existing destinations.

Update from FlyLondon airlines:

Stocks have been going up quite a bit over the past week, with the introduction of long haul routes. Current stock rate is $1.44 and climbing.

We are looking to buy some more 767-200's to open up more USA/Canada/Carribbean routes. Hopefully some more will be arriving in a few more days. Also more a long term plan is to set up a new base using the ERJ's which will move from LHR and be replaced by more 737-900.

Why not invest in an up and coming airline?! Go on, it makes sense!

Current fleet/destinations looks like this:
