The best part is that you can log into the AppStore with your iTunes account and down load from the other Macs in your family. Pretty nice, really. I was expecting to buy the Family Pack again.

I probably won't upgrade to Lion for my iMac and MacPro workstation - the download will be too large. I'd prefer to buy it on a DVD, even if it costs a bit more. It's more convenient for me to walk past the Apple store near my work and buy it.
Apple said Wednesday that Lion would be available in August on a USB thumb drive—similar to the recovery drive that ships with the MacBook Air—for $69. Apple hasn't said if it will stock these at its retail stores, but it will definitely be available to order online.
