UA or AC to SYD

Thu Jul 07, 2016 12:20 am

I am going to be traveling to SYD in a few months and can take AC through or UA through SFO for about the same price and I I'll be traveling in C. I will also be traveling after UA introduces their Polaris product so I plan on flying them one way, but for the return any recommendations? From what I can see UA and AC Business soft product are very similar and that is before Polaris.

Thanks,

Fly each of them one-way and do trip reports on both -- You can give us the rundown and comparisons between the two :D

i think they are alike and im not sure which one is better, but i really love YVR airport, better than foggy SFO.

There was an article in an Australian business travellers blog/website recently that compared UA and QF to SFO. It gave a slight edge to UA due to the B789.

Ah, here is the article, took me a while to find it. http://www.executivestyle.com.au/qantas ... tle-gpr4dm

I would have picked AC because I think they offer a better service (both hard and soft products), but go ahead and try Polaris, then report!

Polaris wont be around for a while. They'll first get them with the arrival of their 77Ws in December 2016, and I do not think they'll be flying to SYD (immediately - at least).
