Part of the problem is there is no definition. MOM fills the alleged space on the passengers/range graph between the existing narrow bodies and the 787/330neo. Unfortunately it is a comparatively large space which defines any number of solutions. In the current discussions Boeing and the airlines are seeing if any particular solution has enough market to warrant building.

Depends on what context you're seeing it used in. I would say more commonly (esp in financials) it's Month-Over-Month (i.e. how much growth between months).
