A person who “passed gas”

Mon Jul 17, 2017 11:56 am

Does this story pass the smell test??

A person who “passed gas” on an American Airlines plane on Sunday afternoon forced all passengers off the jet, officials said.

I wonder if he did the "pull my finger" bit first?

Maybe they should ban Taco Bell from departure lounges?

Wake now, discover that you are the song that the morning brings

I can just picture the scene, as panic sets in amongst the passengers, who are beating a hasty retreat. Meanwhile army and Homeland Security personnel, wearing full NBC kit, stand by to storm the aircraft, as the vindaloo monster; somewhat similar in appearance to one of the green, gas cloud aliens, in the classic Star Trek, slowly creeps around the cabin, dissolving all paint and interior fittings in its path :)

If a plane can break the sound barrier, then I guess breaking the wind barrier is possible too.

I saw a guy clear an entire bar with one attack of 'gas de la ass' so yes anything's possible. The more violent attacks normally eminate from the one's with the poorest dietary habits !

The odor was from a maintenance issue, not passed gas. It remained at RDU with the outbound being cancelled due to the maintenance issue. The flight came in from CLT.

For me it works the other way, a pressurised cabin seems to keep it all in until about an hour after landing, then " !'m good to go."

Apparently this is fake news. In other news, RDU is looking for a new spokesperson...
