Hi everyone,
I am looking to find out how many of Air France 777 aircraft have the new Best J class BUT I have no idea how to get that info??
Can any one help

It seems DEL still gets the old-J 77Ws (maybe those are the ones that do not have F). I am booked to/from DEL in about a month (one is a 77W and the other is an A332) and it seems I will get the old J seats in both, which is quite a pity.

I am looking at tickets to Bangkok next year on AF166 but I am unable to find put if that service will use the new business class or the old seats??

Why don't you e-mail their customer service? They can surely tell you which product you're going to get (unless they don't have a consistent product on this particular flight / route).

The Air France website tells you if it says BEST next to the flight it means you have a new J seat.
I believe there are a few that have been delivered with old J due to the issues with Zodiac. The Caribbean fleet is also with the older business product.

Seatguru.com has complete info on the various AF 777. There are many different versions.

My first port of call, but it only tells you that there are 4 different versions, but is unable to tell you which has the new seats in J?

You can try to understand the table I think : on the first column you have the registration of every B777 (F-GSPA, F-GSPB, ...), and the sixth column shows if the plane has Best&Beyond seats.
You can learn that every B777-200ER has B&B seats. Most of 77Ws have B&B, at least for Premium and Economy seats. (First column with registration, seventh with B&B).
Unfortunately, CDG-BKK is a "COI" (Caraïbes & Océan Indien, Caribbean & Indian Ocean) route. This configuration has 14J seats, 32 Premium Eco and 422 (!) Economy seats. Only for touristic destinations (BKK, RUN, PTP, FDF, PUJ, etc). These aircrafts have old J seat.

Seat guru gets a little confusing as it's not totally up to date.
All of the 772s now have the best. Most of them are the 40/24/216 configuration, with a few flying around with 28/24/260. Both these configurations are best seating.
The 77w fleet is a bit more confusing. The most common is 42/24/315, which is not best seating. I believe this config and the COI are the only 77w that do not have best. Just happen to be a whole lot of them flying around
